I was just about to write a brief (meaning a female “brief”…) summary about our cycle tour to Strasbourg as I had promised. When the german version got lost I decided it’s too late for details anyway and there’s no point in boring you. So upon request there will be personal travel reports
The previous weeks have been quite packed so I didn’t get to do anything, really. However, I have a growing sense that the discovery of facebook.com has rapidly decreased the importance of yahoo 360°.
Two month ago I lost my dear friend and cycle partner Collette to her country… “God save the Queen”. I haven’t been on big cycle tours ever since, much to my own surprise about my sheepishness. All that’s left for me to do is praying for someone new to come along sooner or later. For now I stick with the known paths and discovering inline-skating. Amazingly enough- no accidents so far!
Yet my favourite “hobby” of all times is and remains to go for long and firm walks up in Mosbach-Bergfeld (meaning hill-field, very much explaining what it is like with a gorgeous view of Mosbach and the Odenwald;). I usually go for 2-3 hours well equipped with my mp3-player. As I walk through the fields I feel life. I tell you- this is my time of thinking, praying, praising, marvelling, singing (after making sure no one is around
– of even almost bursting with joy and happiness. And it’s a feast for my eyes that simply cannot get enough of the beauty and colours around. Highly recommendable!!!
